Record number of people tested in one day: 6,842 new Covid cases, 37 more deaths

According to the latest data based on the results of tests performed in the last 24 hours, another 6,842 people have become infected with coronavirus in Serbia.

21,476 people were tested, which is a record daily number since the beginning of the epidemic.

The percentage of those infected in relation to the number of people tested (during the last 24 hours) is 31.86 percent.

37 more people have died.

The total death toll since the beginning of the epidemic is now 1,274.

The mortality rate is about 0.96 percent.

There are currently 225 patients on ventilators.

6,478 patients are hospitalized.

So far  a total of 133,029 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Serbia, while 1,660,185 people have been tested.
