Some Albanian media in Pristina are dealing today with information that Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Petar Petkovic is visiting Serb communities in the north, although Foreign Minister Meliza Haradinaj Stuble threatened not to allow visits from Belgrade a few days ago, Kosovo Online writes.

According to Zeri, the ministry says that "they have not been informed."

"We don't have any information about Petkovic's visit to Kosovo," Zeri was told by the ministry.

Zeri newspaper recalled that Minister of Foreign Affairs Meliza Haradinaj Stubla recently said that no Serbian state official, including President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic will be allowed to visit Kosovo "before apologizing for genocide committed in Kosovo."

This morning, Petkovic passed through the crossing at Jarinje without any problems, and Zeri points out that he was welcomed in the north of Kosovo by the director of the Healthcare Center, Dr. Zlatan Elek.

"We want to help our healthcare system in Central Serbia, as well as in Kosovo and Metohija. To help the doctors and nurses to all together cope with the burden that has fallen onto us and continue to build our future together," Petkovic said, Radio Kontakt Plus reported.

According to that media outlet, Petkovic will hold a meeting today with the newly elected mayor of North Mitrovica.

The meeting is expected to be attended by the head of the Serb List, Goran Rakic, and the president of the temporary body of the municipality of Mitrovica, Aleksandar Spiric.

After that, Petkovic will meet with Zdravko Vitosevic, the rector of the parallel University in Pristina located in Mitrovica, writes Zeri.
