A few days ago, the first scenes from the movie "Dara of Jasenovac", the Serbian nominee for this year's Oscar directed by Predrag Gaga Antonijevic, got published, and now we can watch the official trailer.

The trailer comes ahead of the US distribution of the film, which will begin on February 5.

"Dara of Jasenovac" is an emotionally powerful drama that deals with historical trauma, offering, above all, respect for the victims. The theme is extremely significant, painful and traumatic, with the film avoiding the trap of reawakening the ghosts of the past because it is not positioned within a political discourse.

The movie does not deal with numbers and general places, but with individual destinies, thus creating a very suggestive picture of the tragedy that happened.

The Belgrade premiere of "Dara of Jasenovac" has been scheduled for April 22 - a symbolic date that marks the 76th anniversary of the breakthrough of the last prisoners from the Jasenovac camp.

After the Belgrade premiere on April 22, the film will be screened in cinemas throughout Serbia.
