In the coming days, the epidemiological situation will be monitored, and based on that, a decision will be made whether to tighten the measures. In that sense, the Crisis HQ will decide on the closure of ski resorts.

As Professor Dr. Branislav Tiodorovic told TV Prva, that measure would probably refer to the upcoming weekend, with additional control of compliance with the measures.

"That weekend is the most critical due to the increased number of guests. If we shut down ski resorts, restaurants in mountain centers and similar facilities would probably remain open, with, of course, stricter control of compliance with the measures," stated Tiodorovic.

According to him, it is logical that closing ski lifts would mean less interest in mountain resorts, but that they will try to avoid this.

He also said that control in winter centers will be stepped up, especially on mountains Kopaonik and Zlatibor, since, as he said, the largest number of people who now have coronavirus are returning from there.

"We are also thinking about shortening the opening hours of shopping centers to 4 pm on weekends," Tiodorovic told Telegraf earlier today.

Tiodorovic stressed that for now, there will be no closure of hospitality establishment in Belgrade.
