Although he turned 40 last the weekend, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has no plans to retire from football, at least not for now. The Swedish national team player threw a proper party for his 40th, among his guests was the veteran Serbian folk star Nada Topcagic, and a few days after the bash, he dedicated himself to sport again.

In a conversation with Italian media, he mentioned Novak Djokovic, stressing that the Serb reminds him of himself. The two are great friends.

"First of all, Novak thinks in the Balkan way. When you explode, everything goes well. When you are angry, you give your all, you become more concentrated and attentive," said Ibrahimovic.

He says that Novak is primarily driven by defiance and anger, which gives him extra energy even in situations that seem hopeless.

"When Nole starts to get angry, he gives his maximum. It's the same with me. He is a perfect athlete. With experience and age, a person grows mentally. Nole - he is like me," Ibra commented on the Serbian tennis star.

As it is already known, Novak will not be in the draw for the Indian Wells tournament, since he retired from it a week ago deciding to rest and dedicate some time to his family. Djokovic played his last match in the final of the US Open, when he was defeated by Daniil Medvedev as he was trying to win the calendar Grand Slam.
