A.J. (50), who is suspected of causing a traffic accident in the village of Zabrezje near Obrenovac while driving a Fiat three days ago, during which he killed Slobodan K. (80) and seriously injured Dusanka K., (75) will be brought in for questioning tomorrow before the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Obrenovac.

According to the Ministry of the Interior, A. J. surrendered a day after the accident and was immediately detained for up to 48 hours.

As stated, he is charged with the criminal offense of committing a serious offense against traffic safety, as well as of failure to provide assistance to a person or persons injured in an accident.

It is suspected that the driver, most likely while speeding, hit the two pensioners, and then fled the scene of the tragedy.
