President Vucic from Slovenia: Dialogue is an urgent need, our countries have excellent cooperation

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic spoke yesterday from Slovenia and thanked President Borut Pahor.

"Thank you to President Borut Pahor for his hospitality, in this wonderful place in the beautiful and friendly Slovenia, and he is right when he says that it is the responsibility of all of us in the Western Balkans to preserve peace and stability and that is how we will act and invest enormous energy in not letting the policies of the past lead us to any incidents and problems," said Vucic.

The president stressed that Slovenia has always been there to help Serbia.

"Serbia and Slovenia have very good, I can say excellent bilateral cooperation, and on political and economic issues I am grateful to the president of Slovenia, our friend Pahor, for the great support he provides to Serbia on its European path. Slovenia has never looked for the so-called sufficient reason to stop Serbia on its European path, on the contrary, it has always been there to help," said the president of Serbia.

He added that this meeting has a special value because "we can talk to Pahor about all issues."

"Today, as you can see, dialogue is an urgent need in Europe, and yet, unfortunately, there is less and less of it, and that is why I am happy to be here today and grateful to President Pahor," said Vucic.

He thanked the Slovenes for the support they provided to Serbia on its European path.

"We especially appreciate and love Slovenia and our Slovenian friends, you are always welcome in Serbia," said the Serbian president.
