This is the path of death that Dejan and Nenad took: We publish all the details of how the horror happened

On Sunday, September 3, Dejan Jevremov (51) and Nenad K. (40) from Debeljaca were going to a wedding in Ivanjica, traveling in a Fiat. According to Nenad, the surviving passenger, they got in the car under the influence of alcohol.

He gave a statement at the Emergency Center, saying that both had been drinking: "I had 0.75 liters of vodka, Dejan had 3 beers of 0.5 liters each."

According to him, they were driving along the Vojvode Misica Boulevard and stopped at a gas station. On the bypass near Ostruznica in the direction of Novi Sad, they arrived to the Milos Veliki highway.

They mistakenly entered the wrong lane that leads to New Beograd, and were driving towards Obrenovac, in the wrong direction. Soon there was a strong collision with a Hyundai that was coming towards them, the Fiat caught on fire, and Nenad K. says that Dejan fainted.

"I was trying to wake him up, I couldn't, I jumped out through his door," he said.

Dejan Jevremov burned to death, together with the Fiat.

Nenad K. was hospitalized with serious injuries, with a broken sternum and a several ribs.

D.P. (30) and N.K. (40) who were in the Hyundai were both hospitalized.
