Chinese consul congratulates Vucic on electoral victory of his SNS party

Consul General of China in New York Huang Ping has congratulated President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic on the victory of the SNS list in the elections in Serbia, announced Consul General of Serbia in New York Vladimir Bozovic, who discussed with his Chinese the strengthening mutual cooperation and ties between the two countries also in the US.

Huang also discussed with Bozovic the elections just held in Serbia and congratulated all the participants in on a fair and democratic electoral process, Tanjug was told at the Consulate General of Serbia in New York City.

Huang congratulated Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on the victory of his coalition, said Bozovic and added that the consul general sent warm greetings to Vucic, who, he says, enjoys great respect in China and whom the Chinese political establishment considers a great statesman and friend.

During the meeting, Huang stressed that Serbia and its Consulate General in New York, as well as the consul general himself, will have his full support in their work, which includes the possibility of using the premises of the Consulate General of China for the implementation of the planned activities.

Bozovic said that the Chinese consulate is considered one of the most beautiful and functional spaces among diplomatic and consular offices and assessed that Huang's gesture is doubtless proof of the strong friendship between the two countries, as well as the respect that Serbia enjoys in China.

During the meeting at the Consulate General of China, the importance of dialogue and international cooperation was emphasized, as well as the further strengthening of close ties, which, as stated by the Serbian Consulate, will mostly be achieved through the mechanisms of direct cooperation between the two Consulates General in New York, which at the highest level take care of their communities in the US that are ready to deepen contacts and connect.

Bozovic also presented a special wine ,"Tesla in Vino Veritas," to his colleague, which was produced as part of a strategic national campaign marking eight decades since the death of Nikola Tesla.
