M.U., a 56-year-old man, called the police last night because he was beaten on Kalemegdan Fortress in Belgrade, and the reason shocked the police!

Namely, he said that he had arranged a meeting with a girl, but that he did not know that she was a minor.

As soon as she arrived and they exchanged a few words, her friends jumped out of the darkness with wood sticks in their hands.

They started beating the man any way they could, and then all ran away together.

"The man told to the police that he met the girl on Facebook, but that he did not know that she was not yet 18 years old. They exchanged messages for days, and then he suggested that they meet. As soon as the girl arrived, masked young men appeared out of the darkness, holding sticks in their hands.

They beat the man so badly that he fell to the ground, his head bloodied, bruises on his body. They ran away, and he called the police. He told the inspector that he did not want to hurt the girl and that he 'gave up' the idea of 'dating' her as soon as he realized she was a minor," says our source close to the case.

The competent prosecutor's office has been informed about the whole story.

M.U. has been admitted to the Emergency Center.
