Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) checked the identity of a total of 800 people, while 18 people were brought in during the blockades in Serbia overnight.

Out of that, 16 people were brought in for suspected misdemeanors, while two for suspected criminal offenses.

All blockades in the territory of Serbia, including in Belgrade, have been removed and all roads are open, the MUP said on Tuesday morning.

Sporadic incidents were recorded in some places, where the police acted in line with the law.

There were incidents in Belgrade, Novi Sad and Uzice, where a certain number of persons were detained for disturbing public order and peace and committing criminal acts and misdemeanors.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs once again appeals on citizens to refrain from any illegal activities and from blocking traffic, especially not in a way that may endanger their own safety, and the safety of others.
