Vucic meets with China's ambassador: Ironclad friendship, Serbian president stresses importance of this matter

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met today with Ambassador of China Li Ming, emphasizing the importance of the ironclad friendship between the two countries, as well as of Chinese investments in Serbia.

"A cordial and friendly meeting with Ambassador Li Ming, during which we emphasized the importance of the ironclad friendship between Serbia and China, which is based on deep mutual respect and fruitful cooperation. I especially stressed the importance of continuous Chinese investments in our country, which are essential for the development of infrastructure, industry and other key sectors," said Vucic on his Instagram account @buducnostsrbijeav.

He stated that Chinese investments not only stimulate economic growth of Serbia, but also create new jobs and improve the standard of living.

"I reiterated my gratitude to President Xi Jinping for his support and commitment to strengthening our bilateral relations. I am convinced that further cooperation between our countries will continue to bring more results, greater strength and even stronger ties between our peoples, because Serbia knows how to value sincere partnership," said Vucic.
