Temperatures plummet to 3°C: From Thursday until Saturday, it will SNOW in this part of Serbia

The fall has just started, but the weather on high  mountains in Serbia looks more like it's December.

Mt. Kopaonik was shrouded in fog this morning, and the temperature dropped to 3 degrees Celsius. It was 5 degrees early on Monday afternoon, while the high today will not exceed 7°C.

Weather in Serbia is already winter-like, and the forecast supports that feeling.

Kopaonik and all our high mountains will experience very intense cooling from Thursday until Saturday. The temperatures will drop below 0°C.

In some locations, they are expected to drop to -4°C, along with a very strong northeast wind that will further increase the feeling of cold, and will also create blizzards.

From Thursday until Saturday, more than 20 centimeters of snow is expected to form on the high mountains in southwestern, southern and southeastern Serbia.

The snow line will certainly descend to 1,000 meters above sea level in some places in the mornings, and during evenings and nights to 700-800 meters.

Therefore, if you are headed for the mountain regions, do not forget to use winter equipment on your vehicle starting on Thursday.
