President Vucic makes emotional address from Palace of Serbia
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic made an address on Tuesday morning in the Palace of Serbia in New Belgrade.
Vucic spoke after hosting students attending the Nikola Tesla Technical School in Vukovar, Croatia.
The students from Vukovar are visiting Belgrade thanks to the Saint Petka Foundation.
"It is with sincere joy that I welcome you to Belgrade. It is an honor to host you, Serbs from Croatia - I experience your arrival here as a meeting with the people closest to me," the Serbian president said.
"You want freedom? Then try to free yourself. True freedom arises from a sense of responsibility, work ethics, and the desire to make progress. Today, you will visit places that symbolize exactly that," Vucic said, among other things.
The Serbian president wished the Serb students from Croatia who are currently in Serbia a pleasant and enjoyable time here.
