A clear and frosty morning dawned in Serbia today. The temperatures dropped to under minus 10 degrees Celsius.

The day will be sunny and in many areas, ice-cold, because the maximum temperatures will not exceed 0°C.

Tuesday morning will be similar but it will get warmer already during the day.

Starting on Wednesday, the weather will get significantly warmer, especially towards the end of the week, so during the weekend the temperatures in Serbia will go up to 10-12°C.

The weekend will bring clouds, while the activity of cyclones from the Mediterranean will bring the rain, as well as snow in the higher lying mountains.

The icy Kosava wind will blow until Wednesday, and then let up. The weekend after the upcoming one will bring cold weather again, but the strong south-easterly wind will be warmer than it is now.

The end of January will see a gradual drop in temperatures and snow is likely to fall again in the lower areas as well. This is forecast to start happening from January 27.

According to current forecasts, the end of January and the beginning of February could bring sub-zero days with temperatures in Serbia never rising above 0°C, around the clock.
