President Vucic reacts to arrest of suspects in Kraljevo: These are people who wanted to slaughter children

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic said today that he does not know who the people who planned the assassination of him and his family are, but that he knows where they come from and their ages, adding that he saw from the evidence presented to him that this is about people who wanted to go from "beating his child to slaughtering his child."

Answering a journalist's question about the two men who were arrested in Kraljevo on suspicion of planning to assassinate him and his family, Vucic said that this exists as recorded evidence.

"I see that there are about 70 people who are advocating for their release. We are talking about people who would slaughter someone's children, we have that recorded as evidence," said Vucic.

According to him, the reason is based on the lies the suspects have been exposed to.

"There are all sorts of people. If I told you the reason, you wouldn't even believe me. The point is, it (the reason for plotting against him) is based on the lies that they could have read somewhere, and you can guess where that may be," said Vucic.

He added that there are many such people who become "heroes" on social networks, where everything is allowed, and added that he does not think he and his family are an exception.

"That's a bit more pronounced here because of the support from the mainstream media," Vucic said.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) announced on Monday evening that its members from various units and departments, along with members of the BIA agency, arrested D.R. (51) and M.R. (43) from Kraljevo on suspicion that they were plotting a violent change of the constitutional order of Serbia and the assassination of the president of the Republic.
