GALE-FORCE WINDS hit Serbia: We reveal where gusts will be strongest, and what follows requires CAUTION
Stable and spring-like weather continues in Serbia. However, mornings and nights are cold, accompanied by frost in most areas.
Serbia is currently being affected by a system of very high air pressure, which brings clear and stable weather.
However, the center of high pressure is located further east, while the low presure one is over the western Mediterranean, so a pronounced gradient is noted over our area.
For this reason, the weather is windy.
A moderate to strong south-easterly wind will blow throughout Serbia today and tomorrow, while it will be very strong in the Kosava wind area.
The strongest gusts are expected in southern Banat and in the lower part of the Danube region.
Gale-force gusts of 80 km/h are expected in these areas.
Belgrade is affected by Kosava as well.
Otherwise, the weather will remain clear and dry.
Because of the strong wind, it will be a little colder. The wind is expected to weaken on Wednesday, but is forecast to resume later.
