Chinese embassy in Belgrade reacts: We appreciate President Vucic condemning racist statement

The Chinese Embassy in Belgrade reacted today on its official X account - after President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic recently publicly refuted and condemned a racist statement made by a media outlet regarding China - and pointed out that they greatly appreciate this gesture.

"We noted that President Vucic recently in an interview publicly refuted and condemned a racist statement of a certain media outlet regarding China, which we highly appreciate. China and Serbia enjoy a deep traditional friendship, and the radical statement made by an individual does not represent the stance of the Serbian people.

We are convinced that, under the strategic leadership of the two heads of state, the ironclad friendship between China and Serbia will become even more deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, and that building the community of China and Serbia with a common future in the new era will be continuously raised to a new and higher level," the Chinese embassy stated.
