On Monday evening, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Marko Djuric welcomed President of Angola Joao Manuel Goncalves Lourenco, who will be on an official visit to Serbia in the coming days.

Djuric welcomed Lourenco - who will on Tuesday meet with his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucic - at Belgrade's Nikola Tesla airport.

Djuric wished the guest a warm welcome and pointed out that the visit, which comes a year after the marking of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Serbia and Angola, represents a significant step in strengthening traditional friendship and improving cooperation in areas of common interest.
