(VIDEO) SEARCH FOR BELGRADE SHOOTER: Watch Chinese citizen's dramatic attack on a house over debt dispute!

The Belgrade police are intensively searching for a Chinese citizen who, on June 13, late in the evening, attacked a compatriot's house in Surcin, a Belgrade municipality. The attacker used a firearm, while the motive behind the incident are gambling debts.

The suspect drove a car in front of the victim's family home and according to information from the field, immediately after stopping the vehicle, started to shout loudly and make horrific threats against his countryman.

The drama culminated when the man got out of the car and cold-bloodedly fired a shot directly in the direction of the house. After the shooting, the attacker quickly got back into the car, stepped on the gas and fled in an unknown direction. Fortunately, no one was injured in this attack, but there has been material damage.

Immediately after receiving the report, all available police forces were deployed to locate and arrest the fugitive Chinese citizen. The newly appointed police chief in Surcin, Sasa Sijanovski, personally led the operation on the ground.

Police patrols immediately blocked all key points and exits from the municipality of Surcin. Inspectors are checking all routes the gunman could have taken after he disappeared from the streets.

Surveillance cameras capture attack

As a key piece of evidence in the investigation, the police took a video from surrounding surveillance cameras that clearly shows the moment of the attack. The video helped the police identify the vehicle and get a clearer description of the suspect.

In parallel with the movie-like search that is still ongoing, inspectors are carrying out a detailed investigation, taking witness statements as well as additional footage in order to find the suspect as soon as possible. The investigation is in full swing.
