Video from scene of traffic accident on Sabac-Loznica road where truck killed road maintenance workers!

Two workers from the road maintenance company Valjevo were killed this morning in a serious traffic accident that happened on the Sabac-Loznica road, near the Zminjak junction, and the first video from the scene shows the extent of this tragedy.

The video published on X by Sabacke Novosti shows that traffic has come to a standstill, as a long line of vehicles formed after the accident.

There is a heavily damaged vehicle on the side of the road, which is assumed to have been involved in the accident.

According to information available so far, the accident happened around 08:00 when a truck with a trailer collided with a vehicle that had stopped on the side of the road, as part of road works.

The vehicle with the workers inside was properly marked with light signals. However, for reasons not yet determined, the truck hit it, and the two workers died instantly.

Traffic on this section of the Sabac-Loznica road was completely suspended this morning and the authorities are appealing to drivers to use alternative routes.

The police are conducting an investigation, after which all the circumstances that led to this tragedy will be known.
