Yesterday brought the first snow of the season to mountains of Serbia, and it was the last day of summer.

Today is the first day of fall, and the weather feels like its the middle of that season.

Snow fell yesterday in areas lying 1,700 meters above sea level, on the highest peaks of Golija, Zeljina, Kopaonik, and the mountains in Kosovo and Metohija.

Kopaonik was hit by a blizzard, and the central and higher parts were completely covered in snow.

The snow cover was 1 cm deep.

The temperature dropped to 0°C.

This morning, Kopaonik is under fog and light snow is still falling, but most of it has melted and remains only on the grass surfaces and roofs.

The weather is expected to stabilize today.

Tomorrow will be sunny and warmer, but with frost in the morning.

On Friday, another drop in temperatures, accompanied by rain.

From the weekend, the weather will stabilize for a longer spell, with maximum temperatures up to 15 degrees.
