Lavrov conveys Vladimir Putin's greetings to Aleksandar Vucic during meeting in New York

The head of Russian diplomacy, Sergei Lavrov, conveyed the greetings of Russian President Vladimir Putin to President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, during their meeting in New York on Thursday on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.

"Dear Mr. President, I am very glad that we are meeting. I convey the warmest greetings from President Putin and wish you success in your job that is not easy," Lavrov said at the beginning of the meeting, reports Sputnik.

According to this, Vucic asked the head of Russian diplomacy to convey his best wishes to President Putin and said that it is necessary to improve bilateral cooperation in all areas.

"Please convey my biggest greetings to President Putin and thank you for your friendship. I hope we will discuss bilateral relations betweeen our countries. We need to improve cooperation in all areas," said Vucic.

Vucic and Lavrov met on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
