According to "Informer", his father pathologically hated his daughter-in-law and her family, blaming them for his son moving to France.

On the other hand, the rest of the family supported the love of the two young people, especially Vlastimir's mother Rosa, who left Rade a month ago.

When the killer heard that his younger son Aleksandar was going to move to France, he completely lost it.

The crime which subsequently followed took place on Sunday morning, the day after the wedding party of Šafar's son Vlastimir (24). Unprecedented bloodshed occurred immediately after he was released from detention on Sunday morning, because of his prior alcoholic state and quarrels with his wife Rosa the previous night.
