This is the story of her glorious return to basketball. Her most beautiful story. Her light at the end of the tunnel. The story of a girl in whose vocabulary there are no words "give up", "stop", "fall". There are no words, "I don’t want, I cannot." So young and already so brave. Tenacious to fanaticism, persistent like an ant. She refused to give up! She painfully fell, a part of her leg was amputated, but she stood up firmly, and started to walk further.

Walk?! She runs, she plays, she scores points! When you are having a hard time, remember Natasa Kovacevic.

I was one of a hundred witnesses of Natasa’s "comeback". I must admit that I am not someone who eagerly waits to watch the matches of women's basketball, but Wednesday evening in "Basketland" was something much more than basketball, and sport. It was a special life lesson packed in 40 minutes, for the uninformed, of a regular chase after the ball.

Watching a magical smile of the girl who was only two years ago, in agony, writhing among metalware of a smashed bus in the struggle for life, now with enthusiasm and desire to do again what she loves, playing, running, competing, is, believe me, the scene that gets you weak in the knees.
