This device comes with double faster processor, a better camera, improved Android operative system, and many other things placed in an elegant smartphone box.

Telegraf news agency had the chance to first this new Tesla smartphone.

Tesla Smartphone 6.1. comes in a compact box where you can find everything a user needs: charger, micro USB cable, headphones with a microphone, manual, and plus a silicone case and the foil for monitor protection - accessories you cannot find even with much expensive models.

DESIGN

Even though it has the same mark like his predecessor, Tesla Smartphone 6.1. looks totally different because it is thinner, more elegant, and with more round edges.

On the first glance and touch, it leaves the impression of a high-class cellphone.

The case quality is really impressive, everything is firm and compact, especially because of the metal frame and burnished glass from the upper side.

The back case was made out of quality plastic, and when it is moved, it provides an easy access to the battery, as well as SIM and micro SD cards.

With 5-inch-screen, Tesla Smartphone 6.1. lies comfortably on your palm, and it is easily used even with one hand.

All the edges of this phone are rounded, and the color is silver, toned with the material used.

On the lower edge there is the speaker, on the right side there are buttons for sound check and turning on the cellphone/monitor, while at the upper edge there are USB drivers and 3.5mm headphones entrance.

On the back of the cellphone there is the Tesla logo, and the camera is 13 Mpix.

What is characteristic for this device are the so-called "soft" buttons which serve to navigate through the operative system, and who are different than the rest of Android phones.

"Home" button is a small circle in the middle, while the buttons "back" and "more" almost invisible and they are positioned on the left and right side of the circle which gives this cellphone an even more powerful and impressive look.

The new Tesla smartphone does not have a button for recently used application, because you can reach that section when holding the 'home" button a bit longer.

This smartphone comes in two colors - white and grey.

MONITOR

Tesla Smartphone 6.1. comes with the 5-inch-monitor and HD resolution like the previous one (720 x 1280 p).

However, the thing characteristic for this model is OGS (One Glass Solution) technology which reduces the thickness of the screen by taking out the extra layer of glass.

This gives an incredibly clear display and it reduces the reflection, so this model can be easily used under the strong light too.

Apart from this, Tesla Smartphone 6.1. supports the MiraVision option for screen setting, which provides the color arrangement connected with the desires and needs of the users.

On stock it has 3 modes of the picture: standard, vivid, and user mode.

User mode is a manual mode in which the user can choose the contrast, saturation, light, sharpness, and the color temperature, and the practice showed that these options are really useful because we managed to set the screen to our wishes, so that we could maximally enjoy the multimedia contents of the Tesla Smartphone 6.1.

Moreover, it is important to emphasize that these settings are fairly easy, and that we managed to change the display to our taste.

Another special characteristic of Tesla Smartphone 6.1. is DragonTail monitor security, but also the fabric-stitched protection foil. Next to it, you get another protection foil for the monitor.

We have to admit - the quality of the picture amazed us, and especially the sharpness, colors and the details, even though the resolution is HD.

For all the said characteristics. we cannot but mention the experience of watching videos and photos, with playing games alike on the monitor this good, because it brings the real joy.

HARDWARE

Tesla Smarthone 6.1. comes with 64-bit processor with 8 cores, which is double the number compared to the model which appeared six months earlier.

The processor is MediaTEk 6753 which operates on 1.3 GHz, and the hardware offers 2 GB work memory more, and 16 GB memory plus, which can be expanded with another memory card of 32 GB.

All in all, performances of this smartphone are really impressive.

Never did we see that the phone was going slowly, that it stopped working or something similar.

Going from one application to another happens in a second.

All the applications we had installed - Facebook, WhatsApp, Netflix, YouTube, even VSCO cameras for picture enhancement are working perfectly.

Work memory performs with a bit over 1 GB, so we did not have the impression that the smartphone will suddenly stop working.

The thing which gives this device an enormous advantage compared to the phones of similar price range is 4G support available in Serbia.

This means that the Internet surfing, social network, and music and the application download will be faster than ever.

For example, to download 10mb of data, you will need 2 seconds in average.

Also, this smartphone uses dual-SIM which means that it supports 2 cards, and the so-called "Dual Active" function enables that both numbers are available at the same time.

When talking about hardware and performances, one thing is sure - Tesla Smartphone 6.1. is incomparably faster and stronger that the devices of the same but also of the higher price range.

SOFTWARE

New Comtrade company smartphone is the only one which has the Android Lolly-pop 5.1.1 operative system.

This version of Android brought many enhancements, when talking about the looks, optimization, faster work, and battery exhaustion too.

First of all, operative system design of the Tesla Smartphone 6.1. was created in accordance with Google's "Material Design" which this Internet giant uses for its services an applications.

With the new Tesla Smartphone there are automatically installed applications like Swiftkey, the best keyboard for Android devices which offers the options for adjustment and fast typing, and you also get our Telegraf application.

Swiftkey improves the support for typing on the languages of the region, with using the actual word and expression base.

The users are not bordered on using just the previously installed languages but they can also use and install free of charge an abundant number of others.

Perfectly optimized software with new icons and the new design gives a real joy when using it, with the sense of easiness and undisturbed work.

Tesla Smartphone 6.1 comes with several new options too, like silencing the sound when the cellphone is put on its screen, automatic responding when the device is close to the ear, monitor print-screen after three fingers are drawn over the display, and many other possibilities.

CAMERA

Tesla Smartphone 6.1 comes with the back camera of 13 and front camera of 5 Mpix, which is the improvement when talking about its predecessor which had the front camera of 2 Mpix.

The back camera has an excellent lenses and an even better sensor with which we managed to capture every moment and the frame we wanted.

13 Mpix camera has a flash too, an extremely fast auto-focus and HDR resolution with which several photos can join in one with abundant details.

Camera application was created perfectly, and it offers several useful options.

First of all, you can make "live photo recordings" with the back camera, which is a photo with several seconds of the video.

This option is similar to the one Apple presented on its s6 models.

There are, of course, different photo modes, like panorama, motion-track for movement detection and multi-angle-view mode for snapping photos.

More experienced users can manually adjust the lightness, exposition, ISO, sharpness, and many other characteristics, so as to make the frame in the best possible way.

The back camera on this Tesla cellphone has the anti-shake option which prevents the blurriness of the photo due to hand-shaking.

For the selfie fans there is the fabulous frontal camera with the so-called "beauty" option which "erases" the zits, wrinkles, and other skin irregularities.

Also, the new cameras can detect the special movements wit which the camera makes a photo automatically with no need of pressing the button.

We were really satisfied with the speed of the work of the back and front camera, and also with the quality and the details of the photos made.

BATTERY

Tesla Smartphone 6.1 comes with lithium battery of 2.150 mAh.

Thanks to the Android Lolly-pop operative system which offers the “battery saver” and “smart saving” for reducing the exposure while not used, the new Tesla smartphone has lasted for a day, up to a day and a half, depending whether we used both SIM cards and 4G internet.

While being tested, we checked our emails and social networks accounts all day, and also talked for about 2 hours.

Moreover, we played video games  and we did not have to turn off the mobile internet to save the percentage of the battery, nor did we lessen the screen brightness.

The fact is that with one SIM card Tesla Smartphone 6.1. will last a couple of hours more, but this is not something to be taken as a flaw.

Also, it is important to state that 4G connection spends more battery when compared with 3G, but this happens on all contemporary devices.

You can charge the battery pretty fast. We plugged it on the charger and it took less than 2 hours to fully charge it after it started from 15%.

When you do not use the cellphone, the battery is not used much.

For 14 hours while the cellphone was on, but rarely used, the battery percentage spent was about 10%, and 3G and WI-Fi connection were constantly on.

CONCLUSION

Comtrade company has shown one more time that they can create a fabulous, yet reachable smartphone.

Tesla Smartphone 6.1 is the device Nikola Tesla himself would have been proud of, because it offers the perfect design and quality making on the reasonable price.

Performances are great, camera quality is superb, with advanced options and lots of other characteristics we described in this text.

If you are thinking about getting a new cellphone, take this model into consideration because you will not find a better one in this price range.

The price for the new Tesla Smartphone 6.1. is around 200 Euro.
