THIS SERBIAN PLACE HAS A BENEFACTOR: He donated millions to the municipality, AND HE ASKS THIS IN RETURN (PHOTO)

Even thou his house is not in that street, Borivoje Jovanovic, citizen of Buljane village near Paracin, decided to fund the the road construction that leads from the center of the village to the cemetery.

Individual can not build infrastructure, so he found a way to accomplish his goal: Borivoje donated 7.3 million dinars to the the budget of Paracin Municipality and made a donation contract with them. 

The contract with Jovanovic has been taken in consideration on session of the Municipal Council. Agreement has been achieved and Jovanovic signed a contract with the president of of the municipality Sasa Paunovic in which he donates resources for construction of the road in Buljane. It was specified what road it is about - on the land parcel number 6610, so the resources have already been sent to the municipality cash register.

We tried to find the generous Borivoje in order to find out the motive for this incredible gesture, but Borivoje was not in the mood to give any statements.

President of the Council of the local community Dragan Milenkovic told us that Borivoje will certainly say something, when the road is finished. 

But the head of the community told us that Jovanovic doesn't even live in that street. It is a road from the village to the cemetery which has a part of the road done, and now it needs the other part.

- This street has asphalt in the part with the housing and no asphalt further on, towards the village cemetery. It's not only about the cemetery but also the fact that people have crops along that road and they are hard to reach. Rains keeps destroying and washes away the gravel we put. We have put it at least several times, and it is still i very bad condition. When it gets asphalt, it will be a great relief for all farmers, which is the ultimate goal of this generous fellow citizen - explains Milenkovic.

Jovanovic family is wealthy, some of the members worked abroad, but we respected the wish of the donor not to speak about why he decided to finance the construction on his own.

His only wish on this occasion, entered in the contract about donation is, after the road is done, a board should be placed with the information about his family. 

As Telegraf finds out in Paracin Office for construction, public procurement for street work is already issued and the entire construction will be finished until the end of September. One kilometer of road should be asphalted.
