A letter to Santa made many people sad: Niksa (11) doesn't want any gifts, he just wants Andrea's "disease to go away and her health to return"

Niksa Dekic, a pupil of the Banja Luka elementary school "Branko Radicevic" wished for something unusual from Santa. He actually doesn't want anything for himself, he wants Andrea to be better, "for the sickness to go away, and her health to return".

Niksa is worrying for seventeen-year-old Andrea Lazarevic from Banja Luka, who is suffering from a very rare sickness and she needs the medicine eculizumab (Soliris), which costs 320,000 euros a year.

Dekic, who is a pupil of the fifth grade, "was good, he listened to his parents and the teacher, he did his homework and he studied regularly", doesn't want any presents for himself.

- But with all the small things, little and temporal wishes I could have, I would be happy if Andrea got well. That is the girl who played with me, who celebrated birthdays with me, and then she suddenly got sick. So, If you can help me (and I deeply believe that you can), then make the sickness go away and make her health return. So Andrea could return with a smile on her face - Niksa asked that from Santa.
