Powerful return of Djokovic after 6 months of break: He won against the 5th tennis player in the world, but the "sleeve" on his right hand is worrying! (VIDEO)

Novak Djokovic returned to the court with a victory after six months of break. He won against Dominic Thiem with 6:1, 6:4, at the exhibition tournament Kooyong in Melbourne, a warmup for Australian Open.

It was worth waiting for Novak's Christmas greeting: Sincerely from the heart! (PHOTO)

Nole was furious in the first set, where he allowed only one gem to the Australian and he won with 6:1. Novak was certain from the baseline, he had a good serve and he had only three unforced errors, unlike Thiem who often hit the ball outside of the court or he hit the net.

A more serious fight was seen in the second set where Djokovic showed a bit more. He was more aggressive and better in key moments of the match. He hit some difficult shots and parallels, which were an unsolvable enigma for Thiem, who had mistakes again.

Novak had a few excellent returns in the last gem of the match, and he reached the match ball which he used to force Thiem into a new mistake.

Novak showed that the elbow injury is behind him if we see how well his serve was, but also his strikes.

However, he had some kind of a band on his right hand in a form of a "sleeve", so we hope that it is just for precaution.
