The situation in Croatia is alarming: Footage of houses destroyed in the landslide, "they disappeared as if they were in a movie" (VIDEO)

The Croatian media released a video showing houses that are collapsing in Croatian Kostajnica, which is flooded by Una river, and some of them have collapsed to the foundations.

The media reported that there has been a massive landslide, and that at least six houses have been damaged and that there are injured.

The emergency situation has been declared in Croatian Kostajnica due to the floods, and indeks.hr reports that houses were destroyed to the foundation due to the massive landslide.

Mira Ceravic was in front of her house during the slide.

- I suddenly heard that the wood is breaking. But when I saw that the hill was moving... Those were the seconds. It all started suddenly and the neighbor was just climbing up. I shouted to run, she barely managed it. The houses collapsed, a man lost an entire flock of sheep - Ceravic said to "Dnevnik.hr".

Water flooded several houses, as well as the road in Kuljani, where dozens of citizens have been cut off,

Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic has visited the flooded areas of Croatian Kostajnica, which was severely hit with this natural disaster, and he said that the houses disappeared "as if they were in a movie".

- This is really emergency situation - Plenkovic said in Croatian Kostajnica.

- Several houses disappeared as if they were in a movie, roads, two vehicles of Electro Distribution company which arrived this morning to fix the lines - the prime minister said.

The water is threatening Lika, where melting of a large quantity of snow on Velebit, after rainfalls and high temperatures, is causing problems on Kosinje area, but no houses are in danger there.

Emergency flood protection measures are in Karlovac area due to the rise of water level caused by melting of the snow.
