- The last one to die while serving in the Foreign Legion of suffering, David Nikolic, was an exceptional soldier and had a great career. In December, in our training center in Krasnodar, according to tradition, I translated the rank of a young soldier, the best in his class, a Serb by origin. All the symbolism is there - says Jean Morin, chief commander of the Foreign Legion

The Legion of Foreigners has always been the subject of various stories and legends, and states that only one in eight manage to pass the training. In the town of Aubagne  in France, near Marseilles, is a military complex that hides the world of Foreign Legion.

Within the complex there is a command building, gymnasiums, polygon, canteens, as well as a monument to the fallen soldiers. The Head of Administration for the expansion of character and heritage of this institution, Lt. Col. Pierre states that there are two sides of the Foreign Legion - one romantic side that talks about the traditional uniform and customs and the other, which is about the modern, trained and prepared legionnaire.
