Španović did not reach the seven-meter mark she hoped for, but a 6.85m jump was enough for gold.
Slovakia's Jana Veldakova stood second with a jump of 6.29m, while Sweden's Erica Jarder was third with 6.28m.
Serbia's Sara Lukic was seventh (5.49m), and Sanja Ristovic was eighth (5.30m).
