For more than 260 this shrine has been gathering believers and has kept the tradition of this areas. There is an interesting legend about the church itself, that moves from hill to hill on its own. It is of course the imagination of the locals, but that is not entirely not true, it has been dismantled and compiled during the Turks, from hill to hill, more than once. The reason for its transfer are the Turks, who destroyed churches and Serbian shrines.

The log cabin church is full with people these days, and the holy liturgy was held by the Banjaluka's bishop Jefrem.

According to the first recorded writing, the log church comes from 1756.

- On this holy place the 260 years of history is being reborn. The history is long and hard, but the history tells a lot about our people which preserved the religion in the most difficult times, and raised shrines - said Dragan Topic, the priest.

Great anniversary celebration was held with rich cultural and artistic program in front of the log church in Javorani.
