Today around 14 h a powerful earthquake struck Croatia, a large number of readers of Index reported that they were quite scared.

BALKAN SHAKES, EPICENTER IN THE ADRIATIC SEA: A strong earthquake hit Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, people ran into the streets!

As announced EMSC, earthquake was a magnitude of 4.8 degrees on the Richter scale. According to EMSC data, the earthquake occurred 8 km west of Split, in the sea near Slatina on the island Ciovo, while the epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 2km.

The felt was felt in Solun in Konzum center, and in the pharmacy Pablo medicines were hitting the floor.
