"Jadrolinija's"28-meter long cargo ship "Blue Adriatic", has sunk to the depth of 20 to 25 meters, reports Hina.
The locals saved two crew members from the sea. Port captain Robert Baljkas said that there are no apparent signs of sea pollution.
- If there are any leaks, we don't know about them. The ship runs on a diesel engine and we still need to determine all facts. "Tijat" received a ban on sailing and the investigation will continue - Bajlkas said.
He adds that it is the most important that there are no casualties, that there is no need for see investigation which would be very difficult under night conditions.
