Shock near Rijeka: Two meters long snakes recorded in Bakar port

The crews of the ships often keep snakes as pets, so they can catch mice

A random passerby was shocked on Tuesday when he saw two snakes which were over two meters long at the port of Bakar at Rijeka. 

The danger is lurking with every step: The attacks are coming from the sky - everybody passing through here are in danger

It is presumed that those are pythons, of allegedly non-dangerous species, which were in some of the ships.

According to this paper, all relevant institutions have been informed of stray snakes, but there is still no information if they were captured and returned to the ship.
