President of the Republic Aleksandar Vucic met today in Belgrade with ambassadors from European Union member states posted in Serbia.

During the meeting, Vucic stressed that Serbia remains committed to dialogue, stability and to taking a responsible approach, with a clear desire to show, through work and results, that it is a reliable partner to the European Union.

"An open and in-depth conversation with ambassadors from EU member states about Serbia's European path, the reforms we are implementing and the challenges we are facing," Vucic stated in a post on Instagram.

He added that with this in mind, the Government of Serbia, at his suggestion, made a decision to form an operational team, whose role will be to coordinate accelerated implementation of all obligations related to Serbia's membership bid, and noted that the first meeting of that team was held today.

"I believe that we build a better and safer future for all citizens only through cooperation, mutual respect and by taking concrete steps," stressed President Vucic.

The meeting was also attended by President of the Serbian National Assembly Ana Brnabic and Minister for European Integration Nemanja Starovic.
