The ambassador of Serbia in Czech Republic, Vesna Mavric organized the formal reception for the athletics delegation as well as for the delegation from Belgrade after the tremendous results at the European Championships in Czech Republic.

Ivana Spanovic won the gold in the long jump while Asmir Kolasinac won the silver medal in the shot put.
Moreover, since today, Belgrade prepares for the organisation of the European Indoor Championships in 2017.
Besides Ivana and Asmir, this formal reception was attended by some of our athletes Amela terzic, Goran Nava, the mayor of Belgrade Sinisa Mali, the President of Athletic Association of Serbia Veselin Jevrosimovic, General Secretary Slobodan Brankovic, Ivana and Asmir's coaches Goran Obradovic and Nikola Tomasovic and many other.
- We are grateful that you made us proud and presented our small country as great in the eyes of the world - said the Serbian Ambassador and added:
- I wish Ivana jump over 7 meters and I wish that Asmir reclaims the gold. Good luck at the World Championships in Beijing!
- This will allow that the sky above Belgrade shine even brighter during the Indoor European Championships 2017 - said Vesna Mavric.
