- We find it hard to pronounce their Chinese names, so each child gets another name. Besides Monica, until now we had Nina, Nevena, Vuk, Mila – says nanny Milica Stojanovic.

THE NANNY FROM HELL GETS HER RETRIBUTION: See how many years of jail the cruel Macedonian may face! (VIDEO)

Their mothers breastfeed them only 31 days. Then they are taken by the women who take care of them until they are old enough for school. It is about the newly-born Chinese babies whose parents have found a livelihood in Serbia, namely in Block 70 in Novi Beograd.

While the less paying Chinese send their newborn children to China, where nannies take care of them for a symbolic fee (about 50 euros), the more conscientious and more solvent ones entrust their children to babysitters in Belgrade where they usually remain until the start of school.

Among the first who agreed to take care of the small, newly born Chinese are Milica Stojanovic (28) and her mother. They have been doing this for 14 years and for these children they are not just some ordinary nannies. They live with them from the second month until they start school.

- 14 years ago, my mother saw an ad on a building through which the Chinese people were looking for someone for child care. She went to the family and as soon as she saw that small, newborn girl, she fell in love with her. She stayed with us until she started school. So it all started. Over time, we included people from our environment for which we could guarantee that they were reliable. It is nothing like the nanny job when you take care of our children - says Milica for Telegraf.

Fist Chinese baby that came into their home had only one month. They have equipped a room with adequate furniture and took care of her.

- By then her mother nursed, and she arrived with us after the first vaccine. Mom and I continued to work everything as if she was our own. Parents stop by during bath time or on weekends. They deliver us everything we need - food, diapers and other things. For each child we receive 400 euros per month. Later, when the children grow up, if the parents cannot come with us, I take them with to the mall.

Every child gets new Serbian by coming to the family Stojanovic.

- The first girl we kept we named Monika. Her older sister was called San San and had already been in China. We find it hard to pronounce their Chinese names, so each child gets a new one. Besides Monica, until now we had Nina, Nevena, Vuk, Mila, and now we have Novak and Hana. Novak is one of the few children who were not sent to China to boarding school when he was six years old. Parents enrolled into an international school here.

- Novak is now with Mom and Dad from Monday to Friday. With me, during the weekends and holidays. He loves them and me, but I think he loves me a little more – proudly says Milica, who even claims that Nole look a bit like her.

- We had a problem when he went to school. He is one of those who remained here. The whole family moved to Serbia, they brought three daughters also. They find it better here because they can have more children. In China they can have only one. I do not know how I would bear seeing him go as well.

The farewells are what is the saddest part, they get attached to each child as if it is their ...

- Sometimes we contact them via Skype, but I have no strength to talk to them. My mom does that. It is interesting that they forget Serbian quickly, while the Chinese language is easy to learn during that little time they spend with their parents. I was very attached to Mila. She has been with me for 16 months. She was supposed to stay for four years, but one day they just came and told us that she was travelling to China. It was a shock for me. I went to the walk her off, due to the stress that I survived I began losing my hair. She was the first one I kept alone, she came to me when she was 31 days old. Although she was little they say that it was hard for her as well. She called me mom. She got her first tooth with me, made the first steps ... Now I am much attached to Novak, who is with me for six years. He came with 35 days.

As she says, the house mostly has two children at once. As is the case now.

- Our requirement is to grow those children our way. We teach them Serbian, they eat Serbian food, play with our children. Although people have prejudices, mostly they are nicely accepted. With some people immediately, with some later. Although they are a bit surprised when they see me with a Chinese child, I had no unpleasantness so far, except that I am constantly asked whether my husband is Chinese - says Milica laughing.

She says that although it is not clear how and by what miracle, along with the Serbian they easily acquire Chinese. Also, when they go, they quickly forget Serbian.

- It was strange and scary that they leave so small children, but they explained that they were raised this way also. They early separate from their parents, as soon as they finish school and start working. I think that my job is humane, because I am giving them, among other things, the love they don’t have from their parents.

That the language is easy to forget, but they are not, Milica illustrates through the example of small Monica.

- Monika was not long in Serbia. She came to us two years ago when he entered the apartment she remembered where everything is, but no longer knew a word of Serbian.

For their Chinese employers, Milica has only words of praise.

- They are very fair, indeed, many of them have helped us. When my father died, they gave us advance money that we return them from our salary. We go to the sea together, celebrate holidays, their and our new year. They love sarma. Together we celebrate birthdays also. My friends accepted them and they even help us take care of them. Those children are completely different from ours. They almost never cry. During this time since she is with us I never heard Hana crying. As if they were programmed. Parents are with us when they get sick, when they should be vaccinated. We have a doctor who comes home if necessary. We wanted to open a specialized kindergarten, but the procedure is too complicated.

Milica says that at one point they wanted to give up this job.

- It is a great emotional blow when the kids leave. But literally we were begged and they insisted that we take the baby because we were recommended by many. But there are less children, probably because of the crisis. And this year they do not have children, according to their belief, the year of sheep is not good for this.
