At a press conference during the athletic Balkan Congress a strong message was sent. Serbia wants to obtain the candidacy of the World Indoor Championship in 2020.
This was announced by the President of the Athletics Federation of Serbia Veselin Jevrosimović speaking in front of the national authority in the company of eminent guests.

We remind, what is known is that the next two planetary indoor championships are awarded to the Americans and the British.
For the year 2016 Portland is the host (date not yet known), and in 2018 Birmingham. Belgrade could very easily, if the next year it proves to be a good host to the athletes, be the host of even larger championship in 2020.
