Five people were injured while one lost its life
People of Belgrade saw a terrible scene this morning on the crossroad of Resavska and Krunica street near the church of St. Marko, where a big traffic accident occurred and one person lost its life.
As we found out, five people were injured, the driver of the tram, and three more passengers. There was one pregnant woman who suffered back injuries.
The accident happened when the tram hit a car, it derailed and it crashed into a building.
According to the unofficial information, the car that hit the tram hit a pedestrian S.T. (43), killing him on sight.
The police arrived at the scene to perform an investigation and the ambulance which took the injured to the Emergency Center and orthopedic clinic on Banjica.
The driver of the tram and the driver of the car suffered serious injuries. Others have minor injuries.
