752 people in Bosnia are over 100 years old, and a man from Sarajevo is the oldest

There are 752 people living in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) who are over 100 years old, and the oldest one is a 114-year-old man from Sarajevo.

Referring to the data of the Agency for Identification Documents, Records and Data Exchange of Bosna and Herzegovina (IDDEEA), Klix.ba reports that there are many more women who are over 100 years old in BiH.

- From a total number of people who are over 100 years old, there are 214 men and 537 women - stated in the Agency.

The most people who are over 100 years old live in Mostar (46), 13 men and 33 women. 

The portal states that the oldest person in BiH is a man born on September 25, 1904, living in the area of Old Town in Sarajevo.

The oldest person in the world is 115-year-old Kane Tanaka. It is believed that the oldest person in the world was a French woman Jeanne Calment who lived 122 years and 164 days, reminds Klix.ba.
