Canada warns its citizens to be careful if they travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in its regular travel recommendations, characterized Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) as a dangerous and insecure country.

In the introductory part, they warned about the crime, unmarked minefields and unexploded ordnance in rural and mountainous areas.

In the section dealing with the security, the Canadian authorities warn the citizens that, if they travel to BiH, they should stick to the main road and sidewalks, to avoid abandoned objects and to travel only by day, and to pay special attention to pickpockets and robbers who steal the purses and bags in urban areas, reports Klix.ba.

The warning was issued for attacks of stray dogs as well.
