The Alibaba Foundation and the Jack Ma Foundation have donated masks, ventilators, protective gear and visors to Serbia in order to support our people in the fight against Covid-19.

This is a cargo of medical aid that arrived in Serbia thanks to Jack Ma, the renowned Chinese entrepreneur and founder of the Alibaba Group, an internet commerce and technology giant.

An airplane with this significant shipment of protective masks and other gear flying in from Shanghai, China, landed at Belgrade's international airport on Wednesday.

This donation is one in a series of charitable initiatives by the Alibaba Foundation and the Jack Ma Foundation, with the aim of supporting and delivering medical equipment to the areas around the world most affected by the Covid-19 disease. These foundations are also funding research into finding treatment for Covid-19 in China,  at the Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity in Australia, and at Columbia University in the United States.

The Jack Ma Foundation and the Alibaba Foundation have also published and distributed a best practice guide from the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine for the treatment of Covid-19 patients.
