New round of Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, Petar Petkovic is participating

The Belgrade delegation, led by the director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija and chief negotiator at the technical level, Petar Petkovic, will participate today in Brussels in a new round of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, which is conducted under the mediation of the EU.
The Belgrade delegation arrived in Brussels last night.
Petkovic previously stressed several times that Belgrade will insist on the formation of the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO) and de-escalation of the situation on the ground within the framework of the dialogue.
The new round of the dialogue in Brussels comes just two days before the start of the campaign for local elections in the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija.
The last round of dialogue was held on June 10 in Brussels, and Petkovic said at the time that that during the meeting he spoke about the terror perpetrated against the Serbs, especially in the north, by the prime minister of the provisional institutions of Pristina, Albin Kurti.
"I spoke about arrests, persecution of the representatives of the Serb people embodied in the representatives of the Serb List and about other issues such as the missing persons. The topics of the conversation were MTS (telecommunications company) and energy. But the most important thing is that the ZSO must be formed and the discussion about the statute of the ZSO should continue. Pristina did not want to continue discussing this issue," Petkovic said in June, and concluded:
"And then a terrible decision was made to ban the use of the (Serbian) dinar. We need to discuss the statute and the formation of the ZSO. I also talked about the shutting down of Serbian institutions and the fact that the Serb people were deprived of them. Our job is to fight for the Serb people."
