Petroleum Industry of Serbia reacts: Here's what they say about DELAY OF US SANCTIONS!

Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS) has as of early Wednesday afternoon not yet received any notification from the US Treasury's Department's OFAC about a possible new postponement of US sanctions, although Adriatic Oil Pipeline, JANAF, announced today that it received an extension of the license to transport oil to Serbia until October 15, Tanjug has learned.
The extension of the license for JANAF until October 15, according to Tanjug's source, does not mean automatic postponement of the announced US sanctions against NIS, which should come into force at midnight, that is, tomorrow at six o'clock in the morning local time.
"Currently, JANAF does not have official information about the possible issuance of a license for NIS for the specified period, nor is it possible to predict the duration of the sanctions and their exact impact on business," a JANAF statement added.
The Croatian firm stressed that it will follow the developments, stay in touch with system users and key actors and continue to undertake all available activities to ensure stable operations and satisfaction of shareholders, business partners and employees.
