Our meteorologist announces DRAMATIC change in weather in Serbia: Up to 15 degrees expected, HERE's when
Changeable and cold weather with rain, sleet, and snow continues in Serbia today. Temperatures range around zero, or few degrees Celsius higher, dropping to below zero on the mountains.
Similar weather is expected until the end the day and during Saturday.
This weather is the result of a cyclone coming from the Ionian Sea, which is creating conditions for very cold air masses from the north and humid air from the Mediterranean in the region.
Starting from the weekend, the anticyclone will strengthen, bringing a significant increase in air pressure.
On Sunday, weather in Serbia will stabilize and this will lead into a period of higher temperatures in early December.
The very beginning of December will bring cold mornings, with fog and light frost, but during daytime it will be sunny and warmer, and from Tuesday temperatures will rise above 10 degrees.
After that, warmer mornings are expected as well, and it will be even warmer during the day, with alternating sunny and cloudy intervals.
An influx of warmer air mass is forecast with temperatures rising up to 15 degrees - unseasonably high for December.
The middle of next week will see the warmest weather.
In some areas, fog is expected to linger during the day and it will be colder there.
Clouds and rain are expected around December 7, with a slight drop in temperatures, but still without any significant cooling.
Therefore, after a cold end to November, the beginning of December will bring stable and much warmer weather in Serbia.
