Vucic WARNS: Croatia and Pristina are arming, holding meetings with Tirana! "There is only one goal"

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic said today that many things are happening in our region when it comes to arming and creating military alliances, while the involved sides are pretending that nothing is happening.

"Suddenly, there are meetings between Pristina, Tirana, and Zagreb, which everyone pretty much ignores and says, 'why would they attack us?' Why? And what about them holding those meetings? And why did they sign a cooperation agreement not just to cooperate, but create a military alliance? Why? For the heck of it? No. Why did they expand those military agreements with Slovenia, why did they try so hard to bring Bulgaria into these processes as well? It's quite certain they didn't do it for a story in the press. On the contrary. And when I spoke with the NATO secretary general and when I spoke with people in the EU, everyone just shrugged it off," Vucic said at the opening of the Ambassadors' Conference organized by the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Belgrade.

He pointed out that the consequences of this can be seen today - from whether the UN Charter and UN Security Council Resolution 1244 will be respected, to the fact that the Americans are unequivocally and openly arming the Albanians in Kosovo and Metohija, as is Turkey.

The president added that the rapid delivery of 105mm howitzers and everything else is no longer any issue, while this is, according to him, done with one single goal in mind - to directly threatening Serbia and its territorial integrity which would entail attacks on the civilian population and military and police structures of Serbia.

"There's no other goal. Why is Croatia arming itself so much? The constant, permanent campaign against Serbia and against the Serbian people and all representatives of Serbia?," asked Vucic, and added that everyone is in the neighborhood is either in NATO or on path to join NATO - such as Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"My question is, who is this directed against, who are you (regional countries) supposed to protect yourself from? NATO must be strong enough to always and at any time defeat a small Serbia. Serbia would hardly dare to, and they also know that it is not our policy to attack anyone in the region. So why the hundreds of new combat vehicles, 18 new Caesar (howitzers), warplanes, anti-aircraft guns and everything else? Is it because of Austria, which is militarily neutral, only on paper, of course, that is clear to everyone. That won't be it. It is because of Serbia," said the president.

Vucic added that for the sake of protecting the eastern wing in a possible conflict with the Russian Federation, (NATO) troops are being amassed in our region.

"It is our job and that of all those involved in politics to preserve peace and to understand well what they are doing to us, but to react to it calmly and patiently," stressed Vucic.

He added that Serbia, as long as it strengthens its capacities and its economy at the same speed or grows faster than their economies - cannot be threatened.

"That's why it's important that we try to solve problems everywhere through conversation and dialogue. It won't be easy, but we will have to preserve peace because we lost generations of people from the beginning of the last century to its end. It's time for us to have a century of peace, a century of stability and security for our citizens. That's our top goal - preserving peace and stability," President Vucic said.
