Vucic speaks about Greenland: "It's a big fight, it won't be over easily"
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic was a guest last night, on the Orthodox New Year's Eve, on the AmiG Show, and among other things, offered his opinion about the current situation regarding the status of Greenland.
"What will happen with Greenland, will there be a fuss around it?" the host asked President Vucic.
"There will be. For the people who don't know, according to confirmed reserves, they (Greenland) have around 13 percent of oil, 30 percent of the world's gas deposits, they have rare metals and minerals, they are very rich. You know that Russia, through its position, controls 45 percent of the Arctic territory, and the United States can only enter that game via Greenland and a 10 percent control," Vucic said, and concluded:
"It's a big fight, it won't be over easily. I don't think there can be a conflict, it's clear who is more powerful, but whether there will be verbal clashes - there is no doubt about that. There is a big strategic battle going on and it won't be easy."
