Terrible news is coming from Sremska Kamenica in northern Serbia! Telegraf has learned that thieves have broke into the house of Viktorija Mihajlovic, Sinisa Mihajlovic's mother, to steal money as well as memorabilia from Mihajlovic's career, which are of inestimable value!

The disgraceful robbery took place on Tuesday in the early hours of the morning. Two masked thieves broke into the house while Sinisa's mother, Viktoria, was sleeping. But they also stunned her, in order to have more time to carry out the robbery.

Everything was recorded on cameras, the case has ben reported and the Novi Sad police in charge of Petrovaradin are working to shed light on this case.

In this house, Sinisa's brother Drazen collected items related to Sinisa Mihajlovic's career - the well-known footballer's trophies, photos, jerseys, boots...

Regarding this information, we contacted Drazen Mihajlovic himself, who confirmed that the news was true, but could not say more for the sake of the investigation, and only added that he hoped the case will be quickly solved, because the things that were stolen from the family of Sinisa Mihajlovic are priceless to them.

The entire Mihajlovic family is upset about this and hopes that the thieves will be found quickly and that the items will be returned to the family.

This is a big disgrace, considering what Sinisa Mihajlovic has done for the Serbian people through sports, playing for the national team, the connections he had with influential people in Italy, but also his humanitarian work, as one of the biggest benefactors to Sremska Kamenica and the Milorad Pavlovic Hospital and Orphanage.

Sinisa Mijajlovic died from leukemia on December 16, 2022, after a two and a half year battle with the disease.

Mihajlovic was born in Vukovar (then Yugoslavia, now Croatia) on February 20, 1969, and during his career he played for Borovo, Vojvodina, Red Star, Roma, Sampdoria, Lazio, and Inter. He played 63 games for the Serbian national team and scored 10 goals.

As a coach, he worked at Inter, Catania, Fiorentina, Sampdoria, Milan, Turin, Sporting Lisbon, and Bologna, and was also the Serbian national team head coach for a while.

He was one of the most trophy-winning Serbian footballers in history. As a Red Star player, on this very day in 1991, he became the European club champion, as the Serbian club won the tournament that was later reformatted into the Champions League.

But now, unfortunately, we are hearing about his home being robbed, the stress placed on his family who have already been through so much, and the looting of props and memorabilia that his family kept throughout his career...

What remains is to hope that the police will quickly find the criminals and return all the stolen items.
